I am full of Grief who is with me?

Once again, yesterday, I heard someone in deep grief exclaim, "where have all my close friends gone?!" A story as old, not as Time, but as old as industrialisation. The Village, its fabric so threadbare that even if people want to show up for their friends the pathways between us have become overgrown and hard to navigate. People don't know what to say, what to do, they have rent to make and their own children to feed, people are exhausted, bonded into their own stories of pseudo survival under capitalism; when someone is broken, in need of the kind of TIME and presence that only a resourced person can provide; that broken-ness is a threshold too far for so many.

This is what Ash&Seed is crafted to address; for those of who care about the brokenhearted and for those of us who ARE brokenhearted; this is a well of Re-Source. This is a remembering of the Village with stories and song, music and lament, ceremony and ritual, art and land pilgrimage, shared food... this has been made from the very material of LOVE.
